Home 9 How We Help 9 Christmas Program Registration

PLEASE NOTE: As the holiday season draws near, we want to share an important update about this year’s Christmas Program. Due to a significant 20% increase in requests for emergency food support compared to last year, we’ve made the heartfelt decision to refocus on our core mission: ensuring families have access to essential food during times of need.

While we won’t be distributing toys this year, we are committed to helping families celebrate with comfort and dignity. Each household will receive gift cards for groceries or a holiday meal—$25 per family member, up to $125 per household.

Project SHARE’s Holiday Program provides a holiday meal in the form of a grocery gift card to residents of Niagara Falls who are living below the poverty line as defined by Statistics Canada. This program is in addition to our ongoing emergency food program and is supported by the generosity of community donors.

If you have not provided verification of household’s income, Niagara Falls address and/or ID for all permanent household members within the last 6 months, an email or call will be sent requesting this information to determine your eligibility for the program.

For families with children aged 17 and under, please fill the form below to register online. Once your application is approved, a member of our team will email you the specific day and time of your Holiday assistance pick up.

Please note that this year’s online registration closes on Friday, December 19th, 2025.

For Singles/Couples/ Families with ALL Children in household 18+:
In-person registration begins Monday, November 3rd to Friday, December 19th, when you are in for any regular service provided at Project SHARE. You will receive your Holiday assistance at time of registration.

Project SHARE works with fellow community Christmas Programs including The Salvation Army to help as many families as possible, and we ask that you only register to receive assistance from one community program.

For assistance or questions, please email xmasprogram@projectshare.ca or call 905-357-5121 ext. 242.
