33% of clients are children
13% are seniors
Project SHARE currently offers 17 programs and services that help us meet our mission of improving the lives of Niagara Falls individuals and families in need and further realize our vision of ending the struggle against poverty and empowering those in need.
Each of our programs and services are essential in meeting the needs of our community and influencing the social and economic factors that influence people’s health.
Our programs, services and supports are available for individuals and families living below the poverty line as indicated by the Low Income Cut Off (LICO) rates established by Canada Revenue Agency. Clients must show proof of Niagara Falls residency along with proof of income and dependents to access these programs.
We understand it’s been a tough couple of years. The pandemic has impacted so much of our lives, from our social well-being to our economic health. It’s okay to ask for help. More than 1,000 new families have reached out to us for a little extra support since the start of the pandemic. Whether you need to access services for just a month or two, or for longer term, we are here to provide the help you need!
