Our School Wants A Garden!

Our School Wants A Garden!

"Now that I am learning about gardening my Mom wants to grow vegetables at our house!"
Summer garden student volunteer

The best place to learn about gardening and growing is in the garden! No garden? Let us help! We will arrange delivery of wood, soil, seeds and plants. Each 4x12 raised bed with soil and plants will cost $75. Students will experience hands on where their food comes from by planting a seed, nurturing it and enjoying the fresh, local food they produced themselves. Student volunteers will be trained to care for the garden through the summer months and their families can enjoy the harvest. We can offer weekly support to your volunteers throughout the summer. Bonus...if the garden is built by April 1 the students will be able to enjoy a salad party fresh from their own garden!
